Submitted by Jasmine on 30/05/2009 - 01:11 AM
"Nursing" it is a service to care of patients in the hospitals. The nurses give care and guidance to the patients and help them to recover form their current problems. The goal of nursing is to restore, maintain and advance the health of individuals, groups or entire.

Nursing is a science and an art. The science is the application of nursing knowledge and the technical aspects of practice. The art is the establishment of a caring relationship through which nurses apply nursing knowledge, skills and judgment in a compassionate manner. Both focus on the whole person, not just a particular health problem.

Choosing an accredited nursing school?

Accredited Nursing School:

1. Choosing to enroll in a nursing school may be difficult but one can consider the school's location - whether it is near his or her residence, with good facilities, accredited with various hospitals or any medical educational setting for practical experience, with good reputation, and is duly accredited by accrediting bodies both for the school and its nursing programs.

2. To determine if the school and its programs are duly accredited, personal checking is necessary or ask friends and relatives who have relevant information about the school.

3. Passing rate of the school and the percentage of graduates who passed licensure examinations can also be considered in choosing for a good nursing school.
