| It's important to consider which area of engineering study you will specialize in, as they can lead to very different careers. Civil engineers build the structures that define our civilization – bridges, buildings, transport systems. Electrical engineers study how technology can build new products, or develop new processes for manufacturing and design. Or you could design and build planes, space aircraft, robots, medical equipment, or even computer programmes. There are lot of course available in engineering from that you have to select the right course in the right college. The students have to select form 4000 engineering colleges at different levels of cost, location and reputation for you to compare and apply on line. Subject required are Maths, physics, chemistry, biology depending on he specialist area. The fees may vary from one college to another approx it starts from US$10,000 per year. English level - from IELTS 6 or TOEFL 550 (paper) 213 (computer) - depending on level and institution. The infrastructure, faculty and the placement records are some of the things that you need to check before enrolling in any of the engineering colleges. |
