Forum Topic : Studying abroad
Submitted by Krithi on 27/05/2009 - 08:02 PM
Hi, i am a student pursing MBA in University of Sydney, Australia. I would like to share my experience studying abroad because basically i am from India. But first i would like to say about indiancareerclub, Woh!! really wonderful website with exiting features and such a good site for students to shape their career. Now when i got selected in this university i was sad, because all my friends where placed in other universities. My parents supported and they gave me lot of confidence. Now i am really happy, as i took this opportunity to learn about new culture, new friends, and it also pave way to thorough understanding of their subject also with analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.

Divya, there is no clear definition why one must study abroad. But through the testimonials of the students who have studied abroad, one can make out very clearly that students become more mature mentally when they study in a different culture and place. The overseas study experience can help them to understand the world better, appreciate the international contributions to knowledge, and learn to cope effectively with an increasingly intercultural environment.
