LSAT score is too important and only if score high you will have the chances of admission to a competitive law school. If the LSAT is taken more than once, many law schools average your scores. Therefore, a low score might disqualify you as a serious law school candidate. Options to prepare: 1. You can prepare on your own using preparatory books. 2. You can take a professional LSAT preparation class. Advantages: Self preparation has some advantages: it is relatively low cost, it offers complete scheduling flexibility, and it allows you to apply an almost unlimited work ethic to the task at hand. LSAT preparation classes advantages: First, they literally force you to work through a large volume of material. Second, it can be highly motivational to work with an instructor, usually a law student or a graduate of a top law school. In short, a professional course is generally the best way to ensure that you will be prepared and confident on test day. |
