The Master of Computer Applications (MCA) course conducted by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is one of the most popular courses on Computer Applications in India.

Duration: Pursuing MCA in IGNOU will take a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 6 years. It may differ with other Distance Education Universities. Scope of MCA: There is a lot of opportunities in this computer field after completing MCA. IGNOU MCA - Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria: 1. Bachelor of Computer Science / Applications / Information Science / Information Technology from a recognized / deemed university. 2. Non-Computer Science B.Tech/M.Sc/other graduates (such applicants are required to pursue CIC concurrently with MCA 1st semester) 3. Graduate with PGDCA from a recognized / deemed university or its equivalent course of not less than one year from a State Board of Technical Education or its equivalent body established by the Central/State Government.
