Eligibility for MAT 2009:
  • Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Final year degree course students can also apply.
  • Obtain MAT Bulletin and Application Form on cash payment of Rs 980/-(Nine Hundred Eighty only) at AIMA counter at Delhi or through various examination centres through out the country.
  • MAT Exam Score is acceptable even to certain other Institutes for considering admission of candidates for Post Graduate Degree / Diploma programmes, besides the above Institutes, subject to specific cut-off marks and other admission parameters.

MAT is typically of 150 minutes with 200 questions to be solved. There is negative marking for wrong answers but the extent of negative marking is not known. There are 40 questions on each of the following topic: Mathematics, DI and DS, Logical Reasoning, English Usage, GK/GA/BA. The test is held 4 time in a year. There are around 350 institutes in India accepting MAT.

9. School of Communication & Management Studies, Cochin.
10.Xavier Institute of Social Sciences (XISS), Ranchi.
11.Xavier's Institute of Mgmt. & Entrepreneurship, Bangalore.

Can you let me know the validity of the MAT score and regarding the cost of the MAT bulletin?

Validity of the MAT score is for that particular session for most Management Institutes, but for AIMA-CME's PGDM & PGDITM programmes, the score is valid for one year. For more detail, Click here

Cost of the MAT Bulletin:
  • At present the cost of a MAT bulletin is Rs. 980/- by cash across the AIMA, New Delhi counter.
  • Applications are also available at some selected UTI Bank branches/ AIMA Nodal Centres all over India.
  • Rs.1050/- against Demand Draft (DD) by post. DD should be made in favor of AIMA-CMS, payable at New Delhi.
