| MCA Admission 2009: Admission is based on the performance in the Entrance Exam conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, subsequent interview, and academic merits. Any degree of three years duration from a recognized university, with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects, with an aggregate of minimum 60% marks. Candidates appearing for their final year degree exam who expect to score a minimum of 60% marks, are also eligible to apply. the students can obtain the application form by post or in person for Rs. 650 from any centres of AMRITA (Coimbatore, Amritapuri, Kochi, Karnataka). M.Tech Admission: Admission based on academic merit and Interview / Group Discussion. Candidates with a valid GATE score to be given preference. Application fee is Rs.650/-, which covers the cost of the Application Form, University Brochure and Information Hand Book. Application fee once paid will not be refunded. Last date for filled in application is on June 17th 2009. B.Tech Admission: B Tech admissions based on rank in Amrita Entrance Exam -- Engineering 2009. The eligibility criteria to be considered are: 1. Born on or after July 1, 1988. 2. A pass in 12th Standard from CBSE or State Board or equivalent with minimum 60% marks each in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. 3. Those appearing for qualifying exam in April / May 2009 may also apply. Last date for receiving completed application form is on June 12, 2009. |
